Scarlet Wines started out in 2009 as a wine shop and cafe, based at The Old Forge in Lelant. The wholesale side of Scarlet outgrew that site several years ago and in 2019 we decided to concentrate solely on selling drinks and hand the cafe over to our good friends Mike and Becky Antonini. 

 

Mike and Becky are well respected locally for Antoninis restaurant they used to run in Hayle. The Old Forge is their new venture and it is excellent; delicious coffee, great food and much more professionally run than anything we used to manage.  You can visit their website here www.theoldforgelelant.co.uk or call in to The Old Forge, they serve breakfast, lunch, dinner and sell a lovely selection of deli items.

 Alongside the Old Forge, Scarlet still has a small retail shop, in the corner of the building.  We staff the shop ourselves from Wednesday to Saturday 1200 to 1700.  Outside of those times, the Old Forge team can usually serve you a bottle, but if you want anything specific or would like advice do visit when our own staff are in.
