This is Tempranillo from the famous Ribeira del Duero.  A lot of wines from there are big, oaked and macho.  Not this one!  It sees about 6 months oak but what shines through is the fruit; clean, clear and true it is delightfully fresh with nice plum and dark cherry notes, moderate tanin, approachable
