The Scarlet Wines shop in Lelant is closing its doors permanently on Christmas Eve this Year, 2023.  We have been selling wine in Lelant since September 2009, so this is a slightly sad moment for us, but it is not the end, far from it.

                           

We first started doing home delivery wine during lockdown, when for some reason sales boomed. What were you all doing with that time off in the sunshine?  Since then we have made our website a fully functional online shop and the results have been fantastic.

We feel we have a really strong offer for local people wanting wine in St Ives and Carbis Bay.  Delivery here is completely free, provided you spend over £40.  We also offer a discount of 5% on six bottles or more and 10% on 12 or more.  Given that our wines are already well priced, we hope you agree, it's a great deal.

If you are slightly further afield we offer a “nearly local” service to Penzance, Hayle and surrounding areas for just £3.  If you are unlucky enough to live outside that area we deliver anything, any quantity to anywhere in mainland UK for £10.

In the meantime, for the last two months of 2023, we need to clear some stock so we have a fantastic offer.  You can find this by popping into the shop, it is open 1200 to 1700 Wednesday through to Saturday, or click here for an online list.  Everything is 20% off, so some real bargains.

This is also a good moment to say thank you to everyone who has been a Scarlet customer over the years.  It has been a pleasure getting to know so many of you, I hope you enjoyed the drinks and some good times in the cafe, you have made it all possible and I will forever be grateful.  

No less importantly, I must say a huge thank you to all the wonderful people who have worked for Scarlet over the years.  I did a quick tally and I think there have been around 70 in all - but I do have to mention a few by name; Lucy, Jenn, Olly, Iona, Dan, Todd, Tamsyn and now Sam, thank you, it has been a lot of fun.
