We were very excited this week to receive a delivery of new wines ahead of our first Scarlet Wines Feast Night. On Friday 24th October we will be taking a trip to the Savoie region of France, to enjoy delicious Alpine food and wines to match. Savoie wines are made from native grape varieties rarely seen outside the region - for example Mondeuse and Rousette. Reds tend to be juicy and fresh, with a peppery overtone. Whites are harvested late and have good acidity alongside deep flavours and complex textures - they can age really well.
