This autumn and winter, the team at Scarlet Wines will be serving up a series of Feast Nights, combining regional flavours from around the world with wines chosen to match. At £15 a head, each Feast Night will involve a hearty regional dish packed full of flavour, and a glass of wine to match, with optional extras available to purchase. The setting at Scarlet Wines really comes alive at this time of year. There's something indulgent about hunkering down here next to the woodburner with a delicious glass of wine on a dark night. The first ‘Scarlet Feast Night’ on 24th October will appeal to anyone dreaming of mountains and fresh powder at this time of year, as we take guests on a gastronomic journey to the mountainous Savoie region of France. This is the land of rich alpine flavours, and we will be pairing whites and reds from Savoie itself to go with the food on this occasion. Savoie whites are textured and rich, whilst the reds are surprisingly fresh with a whiff of mountain air.
